The Funeral Affairs of Hart and Mercy

Hart is a marshal who patrols the magical wastelands of Tanria. This job leaves Hart with plenty of time to think about his loneliness. Mercy has no time for herself: she runs the funeral home alone and stands up to... gloomy fools like Hart. After another skirmish with Mercy, Hart writes an anonymous letter and sends it into nowhere. To his surprise, he receives a reply without a signature, and the correspondence that begins helps him find a friend. But if only Hart knew that he had bared his soul to the person who annoys him the most — Mercy! As the dangerous creatures from the wasteland draw ever closer to the city, Hart and Mercy also draw closer together.
