Head on a Silver Platter

The death of the famous writer Michael Barkley was horrific. He was stabbed multiple times, then beheaded, and his head was placed on a silver platter. At the same time, Hollywood star Sharon Moore disappears. In her home, a message written in blood is found: "Help!" and words in a notebook: "If this continues, a monster will kidnap and kill me." Then someone, described by witnesses as "a bald monster with a bloodied face," begins to abduct children from the families of esteemed filmmakers. Such abductions and a similar creature are described in Barkley's novel, completed just before his death... And thousands of kilometers away from Los Angeles, in the salty waters of the Dead Sea, an extravagant set is floating. Here, they are filming "Salome" – a blockbuster on a biblical theme about a princess who demanded the head of John the Baptist on a silver platter. This role was to be played by the missing Sharon Moore. The events in Hollywood are clearly connected with these location shoots, but how?
