James Oliver Curwood — a famous American writer, hunter, traveler, and naturalist. His books stand alongside the most popular works of Jack London and Seton-Thompson. A significant part of Curwood's life was spent wandering through the remote taiga regions of... Northern Canada and Alaska, and the impressions from these travels inspired the themes, plots, and characters of his works.
