Arcana 22

Junior lieutenant Alexei Nikitin has always been a logician and a skeptic. He takes on the case of the disappearance of people whose identities and fates seem to be drawn from the archetypes of Tarot for personal reasons, with lively enthusiasm. Soon, a charming witch with bottomless eyes crosses Alexei's path, a corpse in the morgue comes to life, and a colleague turns out to be an accomplice of an evil mage.

There's something sinister going on in the city, and it seems that a dangerous ritual involving human sacrifices is being prepared. To defeat evil, Alexei must believe in it. Will he want to enter the circle of twenty-two and accept the magical power of his own arcana?
