The Solar War

After seven years of fierce battles, the monstrous civil war known as the Horus Heresy is finally nearing its end. Now the war master's gaze has turned to Terra - the Throne World and the seat of power of his... father. Horus desires only one outcome - the death of the Emperor and the complete subjugation of the Imperium. The rebellious son has embraced Chaos, becoming its exalted vessel, and has gathered an immense army under his banners, called to execute his will and vengeance. But the path to the Throne is a difficult one, for it is defended by the primarch Rogal Dorn - the Praetorian of Terra and the commander of the defense. Above all, Horus must challenge the very system of Sol, its numerous armadas and fortresses. Only by winning the Solar War can Horus set foot on the soil of Terra. This marks the first stage of the greatest battle in the entire history of mankind.
