The Colonel Does Not Sleep

In a large city of a war-torn country, day after day, an interrogation specialist diligently fulfills his professional duty. His goal is to make even those who have nothing to say speak. But at night, the colonel does not sleep. An army of ghosts, gathered from numerous victims, has taken control of his dreams.

It constantly rains outside, and everything around — the city, the people — merges into a blurred landscape, resembling a dark nightmare. In the heart of darkness, some issue meaningless orders, while others are forced to obey them; the awakened voice of conscience is almost inaudible against the screams of those whose suffering is the mundane task of the hero.

In an atmosphere of everyday evil, a ruthless executioner, surrounded by his phantoms, tries not to go completely insane.
