Widow of businessman Marina Zapyantseva turns to Colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Lev Gurov. Unknown individuals have kidnapped her daughter and are demanding a substantial ransom. There is only a day to collect the money, and no contact... with law enforcement, otherwise the girl will be killed. Gurov understands that such a strict demand requires serious grounds; it means the criminals are familiar with the deceased businessman’s family.
