The Theatre of the Dead

Colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Lev Gurov is relaxing in nature in exquisite company. Lucky businessmen, bank owners, and sports betting league magnates – all of them are also avid theatergoers. An improvised stage is set up on the outskirts of the dacha community, where it is decided to stage a famous play by Chekhov... But on the premiere day, a tragedy occurs. During the performance, one of the actors shoots his partner right on stage. Is this a fatal accident or a calculated move? Gurov takes on the investigation of this incident and soon realizes that Chekhov's drama pales in comparison to the passions raging among today's wealthy elite...
