The end of the seventies. In a large Siberian city, brutal murders of four young women occur one after another. The external signs of the crimes are very similar: all the victims are bound with the same towels, and all are killed with blows from a heavy object to the head. Investigators, led by police captain Alexei Razin, suspect that this is clearly the work of a serial killer. An unprecedented phenomenon for Soviet reality! All forces are thrown into the search for the maniac. Detectives work without sleep or rest.
