Montagnana ("The Magic Cat") created a bright and witty parable in the spirit of Kipling, which received a silver medal in the Spanish language category at the Moonbeam Awards 2024 children's literature competition by the magazine Independent Publisher. Anya Damiron has loved reading different stories since childhood and, thanks to this, gradually learned to create her own. Since 2008, she has been independently publishing books in the Dominican Republic - her own and those of other wonderful authors, about whom she enthusiastically talks in her weekly podcast No Quiero ContarLes ("Today I will tell..."). Her works have been translated into a dozen languages, including English and Russian.
Alessandro Montagnana was born and lives in Trieste, a seaside city in northeastern Italy, where he can fully satisfy his passion for sea and forest walks. He has loved art since childhood and, after obtaining a degree in shipbuilding engineering, decided to become a freelance children's book artist. In this capacity, he successfully collaborates with various publishers, always seeking new voices and colors.
