Colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Lev Gurov receives an invitation to a gala dinner from a famous Russian oligarch. It is expected that the estate of the millionaire will host the largest businessmen, artists, and musicians – the crème de la crème of society. The evening promises to be unforgettable… Suddenly, in the midst of the celebration, one of the ladies declares that her family jewels have gone missing. Simultaneously, a staff member serving the banquet disappears. Could it be a simple theft? Gurov begins an investigation and soon discovers the body of the missing servant on the riverbank. But there are no jewels with him… The detective realizes that a murder has occurred, and this is just part of the criminal scheme. What else will the villain come up with while remaining at large?..
