Letters on Waxed Paper

Who writes letters today? Real ones, on paper, by hand… On the eve of her fortieth birthday, Katya Waldstein decides to start a new life and say goodbye to everything that holds her in her hometown. In thirty-seven letters, she addresses the people who have left a mark on her fate, from the strict mathematics teacher to her ex-husband.

But one day she meets Severin, who is trying to escape his own past. 

Severin is convinced that fate has brought him to Katya. However, will he be able to understand that his future is only possible if he learns to accept the past? And will Katya believe that it is not necessary to say goodbye to the past in order to meet her future?
