Deadly Shot

The early seventies. A young man's body is discovered on the side of the Zvenigorod highway in Moscow. Captain Roman Savin's task force manages to establish that the deceased is a professional photographer, Ilya Manyukhov, who was engaged in dubious business: blackmailing wealthy men with compromising photographs. Among the photos taken by Manyukhov, Savin finds an image of a girl whose body was found buried on the city beach a year ago. Could the cunning blackmailer be involved in her death?..
