The last battle left no one unscathed. Flint is angry at the whole world, Jackson is turning into something barely recognizable, and Hudson has built walls around himself that I can hardly break. War is coming, and we are not ready for it. Only having an army can offer any hope for victory. But first of all, I need to make sense of my past. I must find the answers that will help determine who among us is the true monster. To find the real beast in a world filled with bloodthirsty vampires, immortal gargoyles, and the unending enmity of gods. There is no guarantee that anyone will survive, but if we want to save this world, I have no choice. I will have to accept every part of myself... even the one I fear the most.
