She ended up on the island only because her archaeologist father was called for excavations, and he had to urgently leave his daughter in the care of an aunt whom the girl had never met. But Bonsdale hides many secrets and mysteries that she is not even aware of. Soon strange and inexplicable things begin to happen: a creepy raven constantly follows Lilith, and someone tried to break into the girl's room. Is this somehow related to the pendant of her mother that she took for herself before leaving? How dangerous is the Forest of Shadows that all the locals avoid? And what is Aunt Mildred not telling?
