May Bessom graduated from the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts and worked for a while as a character designer, then decided to devote herself entirely to her favorite job—illustrating children’s books. With ordinary pencils and watercolor paints, May creates amazing worlds on paper, full of life and light.
