The Golden Bowl

A lost person can find a home in a loving heart.
In a communal apartment, the mundane grayness of Soviet family days is brightened by the grandmother — a mysterious old gypsy woman. Thanks to her, bright emotions — love, joy,... and admiration — come into the family's life. The magic of the golden bowl immerses us in the life of the camp. We warm ourselves by a huge fire and then dance around it with restless children. Sometimes we cry, and sometimes we fall silent mid-sentence and grieve.
The heroes of the stories remind us of the truth that is easily forgotten in routine: we are all the same, and we all want love. Despite different views, customs, and traditions, in our hearts, we still desire the same thing.
