The Secret Garden

When ten-year-old Mary Lennox's parents die, she has to leave her native India and go to England. She finds refuge in the house of Mr. Archibald Craven, her uncle. Everyone says he is a reclusive and gloomy hunchback, but they avoid saying why. The curious girl's desire to explore every corner of Misselthwaite Manor meets resistance from its inhabitants.
