For lonely Lara, the troupe of her native theater is the only family. But in a family, as they say, there is always an odd one out, and now a real tragedy is unfolding not on stage, but behind the scenes. Someone is administering deadly poison to the actresses, the director's wife is thrown out of a window, the prima receives a knife wound – and each time Lara is somewhere nearby.
