"Whisper Behind the Wall. Threat from Beyond" invites players to take on the roles of two new predators:

- The Unidentified. Having arrived on Earth purely by chance, the alien survives in the sewers, waiting for an unwary prey. Its goal is to absorb the genetic code of its victims to ascend to the next stage of evolution.

- The Devourer. An ancient carnivorous plant has awakened from its slumber and seeks to fill all available space with its shoots and inflorescences. Anyone who cannot defeat it will face death by suffocation.
