Door to Heaven

I present to you a collection of poems born from the surge of feelings of a beautiful, diverse life. In two thousand seventeen, I consciously came to church for the sacraments of confession and communion. At that time, I was already a mother of four children, engaged in upbringing, managing the household, and assisting my husband with work. It was not easy, and my sense of fullness and happiness began to change; it seemed that something was missing. The House of God turned out to be precisely that missing link in my life. Since then, my feelings have become sharper, and the creative spark awakened within me. I had felt it since childhood but could not awaken it myself; I did not understand, and God opened for me the door to heaven. That is why I named the collection "Door to Heaven." I sincerely wish everyone to feel this happiness — to be together with God. The door to heaven is different for every person; by opening it, you partly find yourself and reveal the subtle facets of being within you. The collection includes visible poems so that you can understand that you also draw, color, and create your life with the help of the people around you. Yana Iskra, a wonderful person and an amazing artist, helped me in creating visible creations, for which I am very grateful to her. My family, friends, nature, life, love, and the Lord are directly involved in these creations, for which I am immensely thankful.
