214 Key Hieroglyphs in Pictures with Comments

The book presents 214 hieroglyphs that make up the "Table of Key Symbols," on the basis of which they are arranged in dictionaries.  

For convenience in memorizing, the hieroglyphs are presented on cards that can be cut out and arranged according to the number in the dictionary or by meaningful groups.  
Each card features ancient representations of the characters from various eras: images on animal bones, on bronze, semi-cursive script, and the official "Li-Shu" script. 
Examining individual hieroglyphs in relation to their ancient forms and formation methods not only aids in memorization but also reveals connections to other writing characters, which supports the overall mastery of the language.
