Learning to Count. Developmental Tasks and Games for Children Aged 3-4

You have before you a book for activities with children aged 3-4, which will help develop children's mathematical abilities. The tasks presented in it are designed to master counting skills, familiarize with basic geometric shapes, develop cognitive abilities, and enhance the child's voluntary attention.
Sessions should not be too long (about 15 minutes) - at this age, a child quickly gets tired and loses focus.
The child should definitely talk about what they see on the page and how they are completing the task. This will help reinforce the knowledge gained and develop the child's speech.
In the middle of the book, you will find an insert. Carefully remove it and cut along the dotted lines. You will get 12 cards. On one side of each card, various shapes of familiar objects are drawn, and on the back, geometric shapes are shown, the number of which corresponds to the number of objects depicted on the other side. Using these cards, you can reinforce the material covered in the activities.
