The book you are holding was written in Yiddish by the Jewish poet Oysey Driz, translated into Russian by the famous poet Genrikh Sapgir, and illustrated by the remarkable artist Viktor Pivovarov. The book was supposed to be published more than thirty years ago, but remained in manuscript form until now. Now we can all together embark on a journey to Helm — the main city of Jewish folklore.
