Steam (translated from English — "Steam") is a tabletop economic game where players are invited to take on the roles of transportation tycoons. They will connect cities with railway paths, supply cities with necessary goods through their own transportation services,... and earn as much as possible from it. Each round of the game is divided into several intuitively understandable phases. The first phase is determining the turn order, during which either an auction is held or the turn order is formed based on bonuses used in the previous round. The second phase involves choosing a bonus that provides a certain advantage in this round. For example, building one additional segment of track or being the first to start transporting goods. In the third phase, players construct sections of railroads. In the fourth phase of the round, goods are transported through their railroads between cities. This phase also allows for locomotive upgrades, which will enable the transportation of goods over longer distances. In the fifth phase, players receive profits and distribute them between victory points and cash.After a certain number of rounds, the game ends, and the player who has the most victory points at that moment is declared the winner.It should be noted that the rules of the game are quite easy to understand.
