The Secret Life of Viruses

One of the main features of "The Secret Life of Viruses" is the humor with which the book is written, and the naturalness with which all topics are discussed.
Here we can see the first spread of the book, where we... are greeted by a charming virus that has many friends hiding in every corner. For example, in a toy ship in the bath and even in food.
Page by page we will discover how powerful viruses can be, how they arise, how they reproduce, and which ones we encounter constantly. Among them, we will find the famous coronavirus (Sars-Cov-2), which says: "like it or not, you already know who I am."
We will learn how viruses reproduce, how they attack our body, and how it defends itself. And, of course, the book will explain to us what a pandemic is.
An incredibly interesting part of the book is the one that tells about the history of viruses in the human body. We will learn that viruses existed on Earth long before humans and affected insects 300 million years ago, as well as that during the Neolithic era, when the first settlements began to emerge, the first pandemics occurred.
There is also a true/false game that we find at the end of the book, thanks to which we will review a large portion of the material learned.
The book is very easy to read, although it contains very accurate and relevant information. This is a great credit to the wonderful illustrations by Mariana Tolosa Sistere, who in this case worked together with the "Ellas educan" team on the editing of the content.
