The Crusader's Will

Hundreds of years ago, on the ruins of great Constantinople, the crusader and brave knight Baldwin of Flanders saves a Greek monk. In gratitude, the monk presents his savior with a sacred relic of the Byzantine temple – the ring... of the Virgin Mary. Dark forces are hunting for the artifact, and Baldwin vows to protect it forever: both in life and even in death. In one of the restaurants of modern Petersburg, fate brings naive and romantic Alya Kortneva and self-assured careerist Alena Kortneva together. At first glance, they seem to be unrelated, but the universe continues to bring the girls together, revealing the mystery of their origins.
