Doctor Mats Kruger could not refuse his daughter Nela's request to be with her when her first child was born, and with a heavy heart he decided to take a long flight from Buenos Aires to Berlin. The doctor was terrified of flying and expected nothing good from this journey, but even in his worst nightmare, he could not imagine what a nightmare it would turn into for him. At an altitude of nine thousand meters, he was informed that his pregnant daughter had been kidnapped, and he needed to find his former patient on the plane and provoke her into mad actions, otherwise Nela would die. In the confined space of the airplane, Mats has to figure out how to save his daughter without committing a crime, while on the ground he is assisted by a woman who once loved him…
