Lord James Leonidas lives in Victorian Londonium and considers himself one of those who rule over the Empire and the world. But his world comes apart at the seams when he begins to investigate the disappearance of a famous antique dealer. A very important thing for James disappeared along with the antique. A thing that could cost him his career, his reputation, and even his life.
As his investigation progresses, he discovers dark secrets about his family, encounters mystical forces, and strives to uncover a conspiracy against the queen. But the alleged conspiracy turns out to be completely different from what the arrogant lord suspected.
