Requiem for a Neighbor

A pleasant young neighbor - what could be better for a lonely girl who is constantly at home? Polina works remotely as a translator from French, which is convenient and comfortable, but compared to her peers in offices, she is... deprived of the company of interesting men. Therefore, she was happy to have a nice guy move into the apartment next door. Moreover, it was clear that Andrei was quite interested in getting to know her better. However, one morning, Polina, glancing into the slightly open door of her neighbor's apartment, discovers her neighbor murdered and the apartment ransacked... The night before, Andrei had come to visit Polina with a bottle of cognac to celebrate some successful deal, which he was, however, reluctant to share. One can't help but wonder: are these facts somehow connected?..
