Children's Babble. Entertaining Etymology and Speech Development

This manual is based on material about children's etymology.

Behind the external appeal of the material lies a deep didactic significance. As they learn the language, children transfer familiar structures onto new linguistic material. Therefore, a child aged 2-5 years can be called a virtuoso philologist. By the age of seven, this skill fades, so we consider it useful to return to it. This will help younger students better understand the principles of word formation, feel the language, accumulate linguistic material for further study, and instill a love for the language through native images.

The manual consists of a set of sheets with tasks. By cutting the brochure along the dotted lines, one can obtain 14 double-sided cards. They can be used in writing lessons in grades 1-2, when studying topics related to word formation, during philological quizzes, and in club activities in grades 3-4. This set can be used both for individual work and in team games during lessons.
