At each stage, various dangers will await you, which can only be dealt with using special tools.You can't pass the gorge without a ropeMove forward using the "explorers" cards;Use equipment to overcome obstacles (you need a pickaxe for stones, a rope for gorges) and obtain bonuses (for example, rations allow you to travel further);Earn findings and event cards by passing through special cells with a question mark;Replenish your water supply in time to bring your findings to the raft.Be careful with the whirlpoolsIn the second stage of the game, you need to cross the sea on a raft. Therefore, each player will take turns managing not just an individual figure, but the whole team, appointing a captain on their turn. At the same time, you can always take a chance — draw a "Sea Adventure" card at the end of your turn and see what happens.Now it all depends on fortune!As soon as you cross the ocean, the third, fastest, and most dangerous stage of the game will begin. Here, everything depends solely on the will of chance: each player draws the top "Explorer" card and steps to the nearest cell of the corresponding color. There is a high risk of losing your findings if you land on a cell with a crossed-out card!Who deserves the title of the best explorer?In "Journey to the Center of the Earth," it is important to finish not first, but the smartest — the more findings you collect by the end of the game, the more points you will score.
