Landa, classic Jewish literature figure Itzhok-Leibush Peretz, Austrian writer Leopold Kompert, Russian poet and translator Semyon Frug, and collector of Jewish folklore Solomon Beilin. In addition, the collection includes four original tales by the writers Lazar Abramson, Tatyana Almedingen, Israel Levner, and Yehuda Steinberg.
A distinctive feature of our edition is not only the classic translations but also the rare illustrations by Jewish artists Moritz Daniel Oppenheim, Simeon Solomon, Joseph Israels, Lazar Kristina, Solomon Alexander Hart, and Isidor Kaufman.
