The Revenge of Sandokan. The Return of Mompracem

Emilio Salgari (1862-1911) - a renowned writer, whom his contemporaries called "the Italian Jules Verne," created around two hundred novels and stories. Among these numerous works, sparkling with vivid imagination and captivating plots, the most popularity was won by two pirate cycles: "The Antillean Pirates," about the adventures of the Black Corsair and his faithful followers, as well as a series of novels under the general title "The Pirates of Malaysia," about the noble outlaw Sandokan.
This edition includes two long-awaited novels about the further adventures of the brave pirate: "The Revenge of Sandokan" (in a new translation) and "The Return of Mompracem" (for the first time in Russian). In these works, Sandokan, together with his loyal friends, prepares to take revenge on his mortal enemy who destroyed his family and to free his native island of Mompracem from the clutches of the English. For the first time in Russia, the works are accompanied by a complete set of illustrations by the famous Italian artist Alberto della Valle.
