The Yaroslavich Brothers

11th century. After the death of Yaroslav the Wise, power in Rus passes into the hands of his older sons: Izyaslav, Svyatoslav, and Vsevolod. At first, the brothers try to act together, repelling the raids of the steppe nomads, but a rift is secretly brewing in this alliance. Izyaslav, occupying the Kyiv throne, listens more to his cunning and power-hungry wife than to his brothers. Svyatoslav dreams of becoming Prince of Kyiv himself, and when it becomes clear that Izyaslav is a poor commander, that dream takes on tangible shape. Now everything depends on which of the two brothers Vsevolod will support.
