This book includes the author's biographical works, provides a definition of yoga and a description of Patanjali yoga. This entire work has become the result of inspiration from the words of Patanjali, whose wisdom spans the eight petals (ashtanga) of yoga, namely yama, niyama, asana, pranayama, pratyahara, dharana, dhyana, and samadhi. Their synthetic description is intended to ignite interest in readers and inspire them to practice yoga.
