This collection includes works written by Annie Besant (1847–1933) — a talented writer, president of the Theosophical Society, and student and follower of H. P. These works speak of the long and arduous path of disciples ascending to spiritual heights. They narrate about Karma Yoga, the purification of the soul and body, control over thoughts, meditation, trials, and initiations. They also discuss the methods of the science of the future and possible directions and trends in the development of human civilization.
