Connie and Troubles

Parents often think that children get upset over trifles. If you didn't press the button in the elevator first — you'll press it next time. If a cup with a pony broke — it's not a big deal, we'll buy... a new one. In our eagerness to cheer up the child, we often devalue their feelings, but for them, every incident is important, and every disruption of the plan is a catastrophe of global proportions.Our parental task is to provide the child with support and show them how to cope with disappointment, distress, and anger. At the same time, inspire them to seek solutions in difficult situations.Connie's day didn't start well from the morning: Dad's cup broke, ice cream fell right into a puddle, and the cat tore her favorite teddy bear.
