Daineka was dying of curiosity - a movie was being filmed in the apartment above! She managed to sneak in and even meet the members of the film crew. In Soviet times, he became famous as the author of a single novel, but then he became embroiled in a scandal: he was suspected of plagiarism, but this was never proven... Inadvertently drawn into the investigation of the actress's murder, Daineka came to a paradoxical conclusion: the criminals were searching for Tikhonov's novel in the apartment. But not the one that was published in millions of copies, but a draft manuscript where some secret was encrypted…
