Reading for Summer. Transitioning to 2nd Grade

The anthology contains the majority of works assigned for summer reading in schools in Russia. All texts are unabridged. The collection includes Russian folk tales, fables, poems, and stories by Russian and foreign classics of the 19th—20th centuries. For the convenience of students, all works are divided into sections: "The Tale Begins to be Told", "Happy Childhood Years", "My Animals", "How Many Times the World Has Been Told,", "The Dear Light of Native Sky", "The Magical World of the Tale", "Don't Let Your Soul Be Lazy", "Forest Voice", "Hello, School!". Recommended for students who have completed the 1st grade.
