Stones of Discord

Colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Lev Gurov is resting at his friend's house on the banks of the Volga. The idyll is interrupted by the neighboring billionaire Egorov. In horror, he reports that during a walk his wife... fell off a cliff and, apparently, died. However, no body has been found at the scene. The local police attribute everything to an accident. But the experienced Gurov suspects he is dealing with a skillfully staged setup. The detective's suspicions are heightened by new complaints from Egorov. His 'dead' wife has started to appear to him at night, accusing him of committing a crime. Gurov studies the past of Mrs. Egorova and discovers that the 'skeletons in her closet' are far more terrifying than the mysticism that has haunted the billionaire…
