Colonels of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Guryev and Kryachko are resting in Anapa. Here, in the hotel, the final of the literary contest for detective authors is taking place. Suddenly, writer Kiryano is found dead in his room. He... was shot with a pistol. The main suspect is his wife. The woman, frightened, denies any wrongdoing, claiming that she has been set up.
