The Best Korean Love Stories

This book includes well-known Korean folk tales that reveal the theme of love ("Prince Hodon and the Annan Princess," "Sodon and Princess Songhwa," and "The Tale of Chunhyang," etc.), which are gems of Korean folklore. After each tale, there is... a list of new words and phrases, as well as tasks and exercises for comprehension, with the answers provided at the end of the book. Additionally, to ensure a precise understanding of the text, artistic translations of the tales into Russian are given. The tales have been selected and adapted for those beginning to learn the Korean language by recognized experts in Korean language and literature, teachers of Korean language at the Institute of Asian and African Studies at Lomonosov Moscow State University, and authors of well-known Korean language textbooks, Irina Lvovna Kasatkina and Chun In-sun.
