Scarecrow

The story «Scarecrow» was first published 36 years ago.

It became popular, a famous movie was made based on it, and thousands of boys and girls could see themselves in the characters of «Scarecrow». The classmates nicknamed Lenka Bessoltsyeva «Scarecrow» for her unlikeness, naivety, and eccentricity.

But beneath the label pinned by inattentive and cruel kids, there hid a warm, loving heart, a delicate, noble nature, and an extraordinarily brave and honest character.

Many «scarecrows» live on the planet, both small and large, but not everyone manages to fight against an unjust majority and win.
