In Swedish Westeros, a sixteen-year-old boy named Rodger goes missing. Soon, his mutilated body with a cut-out heart is found in a swamp near the city. Meanwhile, Sebastian Bergman, a former criminal psychologist and expert on serial killers, arrives in... Westeros to settle matters regarding his mother's estate. After the death of his wife and daughter, Sebastian resigned from the police and isolated himself from the outside world. He shows no interest in Rodger's murder until he is confronted by a mystery from his own past. Bergman needs access to police reports, so he joins the investigation.
