Beowulf

Its plot takes the reader back to ancient times on the Scandinavian peninsula, in a world filled with battles, deeds, and feasts. A young warrior named Beowulf from the Scandinavian tribe of Geats, known for his strength and martial skills, learns of the grief that has befallen King Hrothgar – for twelve years, a terrible monster named Grendel has been attacking the king's palace and exterminating his subjects.
