The Throne and the Block of Lady Jane

Jane Grey, a young sixteen-year-old lady of royal blood, does not claim the crown of Britain at all.

She is indifferent to her close kinship with the royal family. She does not doubt Mary Tudor's right to the throne and only dreams of a secluded life surrounded by her favorite books.

But her parents decided otherwise: at any cost, their daughter will ascend to the throne! And a whirlwind of political events truly elevates her to the heights of power, but only for… nine days.

After that, Jane is left to rely solely on the mercy of the legitimate ruler.
