«The great master of fantasy» Andre Norton gained fame in our country thanks to the series «Queen of the Sun» about the adventures of free space traders, which all began with the novel «Sargasso in Space», brilliantly translated by the Strugatsky brothers under the pseudonym «S. Berezhkov, S. Vitin» in the distant year of 1969. Dane Thorson, a graduate of the Space School, receives an assignment on the ship «Queen of the Sun», which wins at auction a «pig in a poke» — the right to develop the planet Limbo — and the adventures begin. In the space of Norton, there will be room for pirates, treasures, and the mysteries of ancient civilizations… The wanderings and adventures of the «Queen of the Sun» continue in the novel «The Plague Ship».
