In a small house on the edge of the forest lived two children, Tyltyl and Mityl, a brother and sister. On Christmas Eve, something incredible happened: a real fairy came to visit them, searching for the Blue Bird for her sick daughter. In their poor little house, as the children thought, there could be no bird, so they set off with the fairy to find it. Their journey was filled with adventures and new discoveries, the most important of which changed their lives forever.
