The tales of the great Russian poet A.S. Pushkin (1799–1837) are known to us from early childhood. The collection includes «The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish» (1833), «The Tale of the Golden Rooster» (1834), «The Tale of Tsar... Saltan» (1831), «The Tale of the Dead Princess and the Seven Knights» (1833), as well as an excerpt from the poem «Ruslan and Lyudmila» (1817–1820). The poet began writing the poem «Ruslan and Lyudmila» while still in the lyceum. Prince Vladimir the Red Sun is celebrating the wedding of his youngest daughter Lyudmila to Prince Ruslan. And only three guests are not happy about the young couple's happiness, these are Ruslan's three rivals: Rogdai, Farlaff, and Ratmir. Suddenly, Lyudmila disappears. The enraged great prince orders the young knights to go in search of Lyudmila.
